Headlights Give 'Wildlife' Album Details

New Music From The Cribs
The Cribs give us 'Cheat On Me' - prep September album.
Much to the Jarman brother's surprise, British indie guitar legend Johnny Marr (The Smiths, Electronic) showed up to practice one day and never left. Marr has been busy of late, spending the last two and half years recording and touring with Modest Mouse. Not that Modest Mouse's brand of Northwestern pop psychedelia would leave one feeling homesick, but anyone doubting Marr's new found commitment to The Cribs just check out YouTube and search for a hilarious video of Marr giving a Ryan Jarman a proper brotherly ear piercing. At least the guy had a steady hand to rely on in the process!
Let us not forget the raucous fist pumping song-writing genius of The Cribs. From their debut up until the superb Men's Needs, Woman's Needs, Whatever, the Jarman brothers have remained consistent, loud, snotty and ready to engage any crowd. Their latest album, Ignore The Ignorant, will be available in September. If the first single, "Cheat On Me" is any indication of the record to come, fans old and new will surely be pleased.
