Daft Punk Unveils 'Tron Legacy' Theme
Seriously - is there anything cooler than Daft Punk doing an entire soundtrack?
The original "Tron" is an 80's cult classic starring Jeff Bridges. It's about Bridges' character (Flynn) getting sucked into a computer and trying to fight his way out. It's way nerdy, but also way cool. Well, Disney is making a second Tron film called "Tron Legacy" and has Daft Punk doing the entire score for it.
Get a taste of the main theme below.

We’ve Got You Covered: The Butchies Take On 'Your Love'
Everyone, including The Butchies, like their girls a little bit older in this 'Your Love' cover.
It’s impossible to hate The Outfield’s “Your Love.” I say this for two reasons. Reason one – one of my favorite baseball players (Gordon Beckham of the Chicago White Sox) uses it for his walk-up theme. Reason two – the song is fucking stellar. It could probably be scientifically proven that it’s impossible to not sing along to “Your Love.”
The Butchies took “Your Love” and turned it into a sexy little romp - and why not? The Butchies broke up in 2005, but before the breakup were considered “queercore” crusaders – as all members of The Butchies were lesbians (hence the name). The Butchies version isn’t nearly as catchy as the original (how could it be?), but their version isn’t without it’s own brand of charm.
I think we can all agree, however, that we all like our girls a little bit older.

You're Only As Good As Your Latest Song
Another Day On Earth writes and records a new song every day – and HEAVE gets a weekly update on this adventerous project.
Sup?! Since January, because I nearly OD'ed on sushi, I've been writing and recording a song each and every day. This has allowed me to appear on the BBC, and also to appear in civil court for not paying rent. Anyways, I post the tunes on a "blog," http://anotherdayonearth.net. I'm using this space to review the week's songs...

In Remembrance: Bear vs Shark
Bear Vs. Shark may have been short-lived, but at least they went about living the right way.
In 2002, then first time author Chris Bachelder published a soon-to-be cult classic. This book was Bear v. Shark, a satirical story of America in the not-too-distant future where Las Vegas is its own sovereign nation, televisions no longer turn off and the world is obsessed with the single burning question, “Given a relatively level playing field -- i.e...
