Avett Brothers Hit Road
And give 'I And Love And You' a release date.
If you read anything about SXSW this year, you would have probably come across something stating that the Avett Brothers had a pretty damn good set. Well, now they have an 48 show North American Tour (eight of which are with Dave Matthews Band) and a release date for their tenth studio album called I And Love And You.
You can find tour dates right here.

The Rain Mixtape
There is nothing better than listening to music on a rainy day.
Here in Chicago, the hometown of HEAVE, spring guarantees one thing - and it isn’t flowers and blossoming trees; it’s rain. Really cold drizzly rain, the kind that is sporadic enough that you permanently carry an umbrella in your bag for the whole month of April. Some days it’s a nuisance, but at times the rain is refreshing and therapeutic. It’s calming, it washes a layer of the world away, and sometimes a dreary day can actually make you smile...

Low Anthem Gives MP3, Release Date
All while blasting Charles Darwin in the process. Take that, Chuck.
Remember a few weeks ago when you were telling yourself that you needed to listen to more music featuring the harmonica? Well, today is your lucky day. Low Anthem is a Rhode Island based band who will be releasing their third full length on Nonesuch Records called Oh My God, Charlie Darwin (who hasn't said that at least once in their life?) on June 9th. The three members, however, hit the road April 13 on a tour to support the new record with Ray LaMontagne. Sadly, no dates remotely close to Chicago are confirmed, unless you consider Boston close - which I suppose it is in the grand scheme of the universe.

Manchester Orchestra Streams on Myspace
Mean Everything To Nothing streams, has tour dates.
I'm not entirely sure anyone uses Myspace anymore, but you can go and stream Manchester Orchestra's new album, Mean Everything To Nothing, right now on their myspace. If that isn't good enough then make sure you catch them on tour, also listed on their Myspace. And if THAT isn't good enough, then read our interview with them from Lollapalooza last year here.
