HEAVEmedia Bringing Exclusive Artists to Chicago
Brighten Up, Velva and Tentacle Boy to play.
CHICAGO, Illinois - On Friday, February 27, 2009, HEAVEmedia, Inc. will sponsor the first of its planned monthly concerts. The premiere concert kicks off at 9 p.m. at Reggie’s Music Joint on Chicago’s Southside.
Headlining the concert will be critically acclaimed musical artist, Tentacle Boy. Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tentacle Boy has been billed as a self-made “one man band,” whose fan-base has been built around a series of hits incl
uding “Early Bird” and “Lost Note ft. James Buckley” from the album, “The Lost Note EP.”
Joining Tentacle Boy in HEAVEmedia, Inc.’s plans to bring exclusive musical artists to the Chicago land area will be Velva and Brighten Up. Offering a unique style of music, Chicago based Velva, has been touring relentlessly since the release of their latest album, “Derelectricity.” Brighten Up, also based in Chicago, is described as “…an experimental explosion of tribal drums and electronic loops” who are currently on-the-road pending the release of their latest album, “Dystopian Utopia.”
After February’s concert premiere, HEAVEmedia, Inc. plans to host a series of monthly concerts in the Chicago land area. Upcoming concerts will be co-sponsored by local and national businesses, and will continue to present the newest and most innovative musical artists to Chicago’s music enthusiasts.
