Scion AV Releases New Installment Of Music Videos
Scion AV recruits Pierced Arrows, Black Tusk for new videos
When you hear the word “Scion,” you probably think of the car brand from Toyota. But somehow the car company has morphed into a visual outlet for new and fresh artists. Scion has started a new project called Scion AV, which pairs musicians with filmmakers to make unique and surprising music videos. Their second installment of videos recruited a slew of talented artists. Jesse Rose, Black Tusk, Cheap Time, Juiceboxxx, Kingdom, Landmine Marathon, Roy Davis Jr., Scanners, Pierced Arrows, and Todd Edwards have all joined the project, each offering fans varied styles of filmmaking. You can view all the videos from the Scion AV project here, or purchase them through iTunes starting July 13. My personal favorite is from Chicago artist Roy Davis Jr. for his single “Rock Lights.” Chris Cruse and Vividus FX team up to capture Davis in a futuristic turntable funk world, all set to “Rock Lights.” Check out their creation below.
