We've Got You Covered: Deer Tick and Sean Kingston
Deer Tick covers Sean Kingston's 'Beautiful Girls.'
Deer Tick got their name when lead singer John McCauley was hiking near Bloomington, Indiana and noticed that he, in fact, had a deer tick incest attached to his body. I’m assuming he removed it shortly after, and named the band Deer Tick in memory of his fallen hiking buddy.
Deer Tick was also the very first band profiled on Britunes, a web show hosted by NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams. Did you know Brian Williams liked indie/folk rock? I sure didn’t.
Listen to Deer Tick’s version of “Beautiful Girls” below.
