Snowsera Offers 2 Free EPs
Local up and comers are a force to look out for.
Snowsera isn't what you want them to be. When you hear their perfectly produced guitars and melodic, syncopated riffs you'll want to peg them as the next Taking Back Sunday wannabe. When lead singer, Bill Arteaga's voice chimes in, equal parts soprano and anxious, you'll want to shove them into the back alley of your brain where you sent Finch to retire just after you got "over" them during Freshman year.
But, just like their progression from attending the University of Illinois - where the band got its start - to becoming real adults and living in and around Chicago, there's a maturity that sates the whettest of appetites for something primordial, aggressive, and catchy. Perfect production and an ear for striking that middle chord between melodic pop and dark hard rock don't hurt the band either.
