Headlights to Hit the Road Tonight

Month-long tour sure to please.

Everyone's favorite South of I-80 Illinois Indie sweethearts, The Headlights, are embarking on a monthlong tour tonight.  The sweet melodies of the Erin Fein-led quartet (sometimes a quintet?) will be all over the place in the next 30 days and will probably be playing a lot of new music, as they've neared completion of their 3rd studio album, set to release in the fall.

This is one of the few bands I have made a point to see both while living in Champaign and when they arrive here in New York.  Each performance is a brilliant combination of perfect instrumentation that sates my taste for the album versions and delicate, intelligent reconstruction for the live audience, keeping my feet tapping through each set.
