Del the Funky Homosapien addresses lack of funk in the nation with his own stimulus package.
Del the Funky Homosapien has addressed the nation on the current situation in regards to the lack of funk in our everyday lives. In order to stimulate the small amount of funk out there, Del has decided to release his next album for free, available for download on his website.
“As we all know funk is depleting rapidly in our country,” Del Explains in his congressional style address. He suggests his new album Funkman is the answer to this growing epidemic with 13 tracks of funk. Del goes on to state that his stimulus plan is, “guaranteed to restore funk to our government.”
If you don’t know much about the cousin of Ice Cube, Del came out with his first album when he was 18, entitled I Wish My Brother George Was Here. The masses probably know him for his collaborations with Gorillaz that produced the hit single “Clint Eastwood.” Del has released multiple albums in his days as an artist - and his futuristic wordplay on the album Deltron 3030 is to be admired. Del begins touring the country in April, so if what you hear pleases you, there will be plenty of chances to see the Funky Homosapien live.
