The Best Albums of 2008
TV on the Radio make a strong showing on our staff lists
It's that time of year again where we reflect on the past twelve months--on the mornings we woke up and didn't know where we had slept the night before, the numerous / nameless sexual partners, and the endless cycle of drug abuse and rehab. Oh, and all those fantastic albums that were released. We gave you a similar list in 2007, but 2008 is the first year where Heave has been around from start to finish. In a way, then, the following staff picks for the Best Albums of 2008 form a collective rite of passage, like a musical Bar Mitzvah. Yes, that's probably the best way to think about it.
Enjoy!
